Dear Mythology Kids,
If you missed class, we completed the following:
1. Each student submitted their "What is a Classic?" assignment. It was interesting to hear students' ideas and interpretations regarding their choices.
2. We then continued with our "history" lesson regarding Athens and Sparta. Students watched a brief clip regarding the Spartan way of life.
3. Students were introduced to "The Creation Myth." We did not finish our discussion of this in class, but we pick up where we left off. If you missed class, please obtain the information from another student.
HOMEWORK:
Please read the section in your textbook entitled "Introduction to Classical Mythology" located on pages 13-21. As you read, create a list of 15 points that you found interesting. Record the textual line and then indicate why you found that particular section worthwhile. THIS IS DUE ON THURSDAY!
Please visit with me if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Crampton
