Dear Mythology Kids,
WELCOME BACK! I hope you had a wonderful holiday!
Today we began with the most significant hero in classical mythology...Heracles by the Greeks and Hercules by the Romans!
Students received two new vocabulary words:
TANTALIZING and ATROPHY: Please obtain the etymology, definition, and synonyms from someone in class!
1. Each student was seated within a group and given a number...... that number determined the reading assigned to each student. If you were absent, please stop by my room, so that I can give you the assignment. PLEASE read the corresponding assignment, and then annotate the text for points using ALL YOUR COLORS! This is due on THURSDAY!
2. In addition, please read "Hercules" in your book...pg. 166 for Thursday!
3. Complete your section of the storyboard for Thursday!
4. Remember that your mosaic is due on Monday, the 12th!
Students were given a significant amount of schema regarding the most famous Greek hero, Hercules. Each student received a copy of a story board detailing the myth. PLEASE STOP BY MY ROOM TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THIS! Please communicate with another student from class in order to obtain the information that you missed!
